Itinéraire

Stage 1 – Seville to Carmona - Distance 49.5 km

The Vía Verde de Los Alcores

Leave the magnificent Cathedral of Seville using the city’s extensive cycle network before joining the peaceful Vía Verde de Los Alcores. As the city gradually disappears behind you, quiet country roads lead across fertile farmland to the spectacular hilltop town of Carmona, one of Andalusia’s oldest and most beautiful historic cities.

Stage 2 – Carmona to Palma del Río - Distance 54.5 Km

Across the Guadalquivir Valley

Today’s ride crosses the fertile plains of the Guadalquivir Valley, following peaceful secondary roads through traditional villages, olive groves and orange orchards. A relaxed stage ending in the charming riverside town of Palma del Río, where the Guadalquivir and Genil rivers meet.

Stage 3 – Palma del Río to Córdoba - Distance 57.2 Km

The City of the Caliphs

Leaving the countryside behind, cycle towards the magnificent city of Córdoba. Discover the breathtaking Mezquita, wander through the flower-filled patios and lose yourself in the narrow streets of the historic Jewish Quarter, one of Spain’s greatest cultural treasures.

Stage 4 - Córdoba to Doña Mencía/Zuheros - Distance 70.2 Km.

The Vía Verde del Aceite

Leave Córdoba behind and head into the spectacular Subbética Natural Park. After quiet country roads, join the famous Vía Verde del Aceite, one of Spain’s finest cycling greenways. Pass through the breathtaking white village of Zuheros, officially recognised as one of Spain’s Most Beautiful Villages, before finishing the day in the welcoming cycling town of Doña Mencía.

Stage 5 - Zuheros to Alcalá la Real - Distance 57.7 Km.

Castles and Olive Groves

Continue through authentic inland Andalusia, cycling among rolling olive groves and peaceful rural landscapes. The stage concludes beneath the imposing Fortress of La Mota, whose commanding position has watched over these lands for centuries.

Stage 6 - Alcalá la Real to Granada - Distance 56.4 km

The Road to the Alhambra

The final ride follows quiet backroads towards Granada, with the peaks of Sierra Nevada gradually appearing on the horizon. Finish your journey beneath the world-famous Alhambra, one of Europe’s most extraordinary monuments and the perfect finale to an unforgettable cycling adventure through the heart of Al-Andalus.

FAQ

Which airport should I fly to for Seville?

The easiest way to reach Seville is by flying into Seville Airport (SVQ), located just 10 km from the city centre. The airport offers direct flights from many European cities, including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Milan, Rome, Munich and several destinations within Spain.

More than 25 airlines operate at Seville Airport, including Ryanair, Vueling, easyJet, Iberia, Lufthansa and Air France.

From the airport, the EA Airport Bus connects with the city centre and Santa Justa railway station in around 30–35 minutes, while a taxi takes about 20–25 minutes.

If you cannot find a convenient flight to Seville, another excellent option is to fly into Madrid and continue by Spain’s high-speed AVE train. The journey from Madrid to Seville takes approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes, with frequent daily departures.

We will provide you with: Helmet (we recommend to bring your own one), a rear pannier and mobile holder per person and pump, lock, multi-tool, spare inner tubes, tire levers and patches for every two people.

Quel type d'hébergement ou d'hôtel aurons-nous ?

We work with carefully selected 3- and 4-star hotels, chosen for their comfort, character and location. Most of them are family-run properties or boutique-style hotels with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. All rooms include a private bathroom and offer the level of quality you would expect from well-maintained mid-range or superior accommodation.

Whenever possible, we prioritise hotels with a strong commitment to sustainability, local products and authentic regional charm. In some rural areas, accommodation may be in high-quality country inns or charming guesthouses, which often provide an even more personal experience.

In short, you can expect comfortable, reliable and well-located accommodation every night, with a balance between quality, local flavour and a good night’s rest after your ride.
